Photo of the week
This week I was asked to provide photographs for a transport report showing various transport in the Northern Beaches. After a rainy week I was a bit worried since it meant a couple of hours riding the motorcycle to various locations and being outside taking photographs. As it turned out I had nothing to worry about as the morning was a glorious fall day full of sunshine. Below are a couple of my favourite photographs from the day showing various bits of transport infrastructure and vehicles.
I was mainly trying to capture instances of priority measures where buses were able to travel faster than cars. I also photographed bus signage both static and real time at bus stops to show the roll out of the technology. I also couldn’t quite resist a couple of photographs of the Manly ferry as it pulled into the Manly Wharf while buses waited for interchanging passengers.
