Long break

It has been quite a long time since there has been any activity here on this blog. After the birth of our daughter I have been quite busy paying attention to how she is growing and maturing.

It has been amazing to watch her grow and learn, and I have been reluctant to change focus. As a result my work has been based mainly on cataloging her growth and changes, including compiling an ebook on her first 12 weeks. I have also started compiling a book of her next stage of development between 3 months and 6 months.

As part of this period we are taking her on a trip around the world to meet her grandparents and great grandparents in North America and Europe. Then a week long break in Hong Kong to recover before heading back to Australia. It will be 5 weeks, 9 flights, 4 continents, and too many friends and family to count. I’m sure it will go by in a flash, but we are all looking forward to it and the challenge of traveling with an infant.

The photographs below are from our practice trip to Darwin in the Northern Territory, on which Sasha proved to be an excellent little traveler.
